1. Review Your Priorities
Start your day by asking: What absolutely needs to move forward today? Projects stall when everything feels urgent — but smart PMs know what truly is.
2. Talk to People — Before It’s Critical
Proactive communication saves you later. A quick check-in with stakeholders or your team can reveal roadblocks early.
3. Update Your Status Docs
Your RAID log, risk register, or simple task tracker — keep them fresh. A stale status report erodes trust fast.
4. Take 10 Minutes to Reflect (my fav one!)
At the end of the day, jot down what went well, what didn’t, and what needs follow-up tomorrow. This simple habit builds momentum and confidence.
Being a great PM isn’t about big hero moves - it’s about the small, consistent actions that keep people aligned and projects moving.
