Be the candidate they notice: your quick guide 🌟

How to land a dream role in a highly competitive market this fall!

Hey friends!

We all know the job market is tough right now. So, how do you make sure you’re the one that stands out? I prepared for you some simple tips to help you differentiate yourself and land that dream role:

1. Unique Skills and Certifications

Get certified! Whether it’s Agile, CSM, How to use AI tools for Project Managers or technical skills, having specialized knowledge can make a big difference.

I use Udemy, and LinkedIn Learning for courses.

2. Build Your Professional Brand

Make your resume and LinkedIn shine. Tailor them for each job application and engage with industry content to boost your visibility.

Check if you have more than 500+ connections, it will boost your credibility and people will engage with you more eagerly 😄

3. Network, Network, Network

Build genuine relationships! Attend events, join groups, and connect on LinkedIn. Don’t be shy - reach out to PMs at your dream companies who can answer your questions about their job or a company.

4. Showcase Your Achievements

Employers love numbers! Use quantifiable achievements in your resume and interviews to show your impact. If you have a portfolio, flaunt it! YES!

Build a portfolio in Notion, no need for fancy websites.

5. Highlight Soft Skills

Don’t forget about soft skills! Communication and teamwork can set you apart. Share any leadership experiences, even if informal.

6. Tailor Your Applications

Do your homework! Customize your applications to fit the company culture and show how your values align with theirs.

7. Be Proactive

Take charge! Reach out to recruiters directly and follow up after interviews with a quick thank-you note. It leaves a great impression.

Standing out is all about showcasing your unique strengths and making connections. Keep these tips in mind, and you’ll increase your chances of landing the job you want.

You got it!

Good things take time, and greater things take even more 🤫
