Here is how to network in 2025: 7 rules to networking success
Network smarter not harder
Hi friend,
Networking in 2025 is less about quantity and more about quality.
Here is what to do for your successful networking squid game:

I am a big fan of Squid Games (are you?), so here is a GIF for ya ❤️
1. Optimize your profile
Your profile is your first impression. Make sure it’s professional, engaging, and up-to-date.
Headline: Use keywords that highlight your expertise and what you offer. For example, "Healthcare Project Manager | Empowering Teams & Driving Results in Dynamic Environments."
About Section: Share your story, skills, and career goals. Highlight achievements and what you’re passionate about.
Profile Photo and Banner: Use a clear, professional photo and an eye-catching banner aligned with your brand.
2. Personalize connection requests
Avoid generic messages like "I'd like to connect with you." Instead, craft a note that explains why you want to connect.
Example:
Hi [Name], I noticed your post on [specific topic] and found your perspective insightful. As someone interested in [related topic], I’d love to connect and learn from you.
3. Engage with others' content
Comment on posts, share thoughtful insights, and ask questions.
Prioritize engaging with posts from leaders, peers, or companies in your industry.
Be genuine and avoid surface-level comments like "Great post!"
4. Use LinkedIn events and Live sessions
Attend virtual webinars or events hosted on LinkedIn.
Interact in the chat and follow up with attendees or speakers afterward.
Use the event hashtags to join related discussions.
5. Follow Up with your connections
After connecting, send a message to build rapport. Reference shared interests or mutual goals.
Example:
Hi [Name], thanks for connecting! I enjoyed your recent post about [topic] and look forward to learning more from you. Let me know if there’s anything I can support you with.
6. Be consistent
Networking is not a one-time activity. Dedicate time weekly to engage with your network, post content, and reach out to new people.
7. Provide value before asking for help
Networking is a two-way street. Offer resources, insights, or connections before requesting favors. This builds trust and goodwill.
That’s it for today ❤️ My 7 rules to the networking success.
