The One Hack That Changed My Life Forever

Do something you’ve never done before.

Every process in life - whether it’s losing weight, building a business, advancing your career, or improving relationships - hits a plateau.

It’s frustrating because you’re not just feeling stuck; you can see it.

You’re doing the work, but nothing changes.

Here’s my hack: when I hit that wall, I do things I’ve never done before to break out of the cycle.

• Want to lose weight? I swap bread for veggies and switch from cappuccinos to espresso without sugar. Small changes.

• Building a business? I start doing the things I’ve been afraid of—launching this newsletter, asking for feedback, trying a new strategy.

• Growing your career? I change old habits, pick up new skills, and stop relying on the same tactics.

The same applies to finding a new job, building your network, or even starting to post on LinkedIn. It’s all about getting out of your comfort zone.

• Never had someone review your resume? Get a coach to give you solid feedback—old habits won’t get you new results.

• Afraid to network? Make it your goal to attend 5 events this fall. Meet people. Build connections.

• Want a promotion? Stop just taking on more work. Change your approach. Show leadership, not just responsibility.

Want to start posting on social media? Start small - 2 posts a week. Test things out. You don’t need a perfect strategy right away.

This hack has worked for me time and time again. Whenever I’ve felt stuck, doing something new has opened doors I didn’t even know existed.
